Ruthe Deskin & Harry Reid
The New York Times had an interesting story this weekend about Senate majority leader Harry Reid – Democrat of Nevada. Here is a link.
Las Vegas journalist (and previous Reno women’s page editor) Ruthe Deskin often covered Reid. She had known him since his high schoo years. In fact, when Ruthe questioned some of Reid’s practices a few years ago, he immediately released more documents although it was not required. He made a statement noting that he did not want to disappoint Ruthe.
