This is a letter from Miami Herald women’s page editor Marie Anderson to Paul Myhre, the director of the Penney-Missouri Awards. Paul was a big advocate for women’s page journalism and often worked with Marie. The letter can be found in the Penney-Missouri Award papers at WHMC. The Penney-Missouri Awards were a way for women’s page editors to network. The letter includes a reference to Edee Greene, women’s page editor at the Fort Lauderdale News.
