Edee Greene update
I just received word that my article on Edee Greene, women’s page editor of the Fort Lauderdale News in the 1960s, is under review with a state history journal. I also heard from Edee’s daughter last week. I am glad that my work on Edee is coming along – she is a favorite!

Hello Kim, As a brief introduction, I am one of Edee Greene's granddaughters, Leslie Greene Chalfont and just read your conference presentation about her. How thrilled I was to learn so much more about a wonderful woman. She was my "Edee Pie." Ironically, I just moved back to Orlando from Columbia, MO! How sad it was for me to read so much history about my grandmother that I could have seen first-hand at the university's J School. Very small world indeed. Even sadder was discovering that the LIfestyle Award from the University has been suspended for the time being. If only I had known the connection sooner. Would love to visit with you more. Leslie
