Jim and Maggie in New York

Lance and I are in New York City for our annual visit. Jim Bellows and Maggie Savoy lived in New York City for a few years. (Maggie was the women’s page editor in Phoenix when she left the position to marry Jim.) They held great parties and practiced great journalism. They were an amazing couple.

I interviewed Jim on the phone during one of our New York trips a few years ago. His memorial was on Friday. I am so glad I had the opportunity to speak to him about Maggie. He will be missed.
