Beverley Morales’ daughter, Maria
I tracked down this image of Maria Helena Morales’ gravesite. She was the daughter of Sun-Sentinel women’s page editor Beverley Morales. Last week I received the divorce decree of Beverley and her husband, Hector. They were divorced on May 22, 1967. Little Maria died in a drowning accident on June 26, 1967. Beverley Brink Morales Badhorse references
I have found more references to Miami women’s page editor Beverley Morales. She has an article in the above journal. I have also found that Beverley interviewed several people for an oral history project conducted by the Montana Historical Society. They were taped so I am hoping to get to hear her voice. I am working on a biographical piece on Beverley. I spoke to her sisters over the summer.

Before we left St. Louis, I interviewed Beverley Morales’s sisters who were a great help. I also spoke to the editor of Montana: The Magazine of Western History about an article about Beverley. The editor was very helpful. I will continue to collect information about the Montana native. Here is my earlier post about her.
