Eleanor Hart papers

Lance and I spent Friday in Miami going through the papers of Miami Herald women’s page columnist Eleanor Hart. Her papers are at the Historical Museum of South Florida.

Eleanor worked for Dorothy Jurney in the 1950s and then Marie Anderson in the 1960s. Her columns are a great representation of social history. Included in her papers were letters from readers and social agencies.

I plan to write an article about Eleanor’s columns.
