Jim Bellows dies

I was so sad to learn yesterday that Jim Bellows had died. Here’s a link to one of several obits.

Jim was a great editor. A great champion for the underdog. An advocate and mentor for women journalists. He was married to women’s page journalist Maggie Savoy until her death in 1970. He made a real difference.

I interviewed him a few years ago about Maggie.
