Easter, Jane Nickerson and key lime pie

I recently tracked down a copy of Jane Nickerson’s 1973 Florida Cookbook. Jane was a longtime New York Times food writer before coming down to Florida and later working for the NYT’s Florida newspapers. Her book includes an interesting history of Florida food.

I asked Lance to make Jane’s recipes for key lime pie for Easter dinner – it’s pictured above. Yum!
