Well Behaved Women Making Environmental History
I just learned that my paper “Club Women & Garden Clubs: Well Behaved Women Making Environmental History,” has been accepted for presentation at the Southern Forum on Agricultural, Rural and Environmental History in Winter Park, Florida on March 28, 2014. I will speak about the important work that women in Florida did to improve the environment – especially the beaches – in the 1950s and 1960s.
