I have been researching Miami women’s page journalist Kay Murphy. I found a scholarship is given in her name – as recently as 2017. Here is information about it:“Kay Murphy Price Scholarship: Kay Murphy Price was a Scripps alum who had a 33-year career as a feature writer with the Columbus Dispatch and Miami Herald. She was also an artist, winning awards for her poetry, and gourmet cooking, and dabbling with a paint brush.
