My Article in Historiography of Mass Communication
In honor of pioneering woman in newspaper management Irene Nolan’s death, I wrote about the women who came after the “firsts.” (In Nolan’s case, she became a managing editor after Carol Sutton.) I wrote about Nolan and the need to study those who came after the firsts in the current issue of the Historiography of Mass Communication.

FIU: Women in Communication
I was happy to be part of the FIU Women in Communication: Breaking the Barrier conference in Miami. I spoke about my new book, Janet Chusmir and Gloria Biggs. I will be presenting the paper at AEJMC in Chicago this fall.
